I'm a bit skeptical about the hydrogen cars. Big Auto loves talking about how they are the wave of the future, but they have no real solution for how we are to generate all this hydrogen without using pollutive methods. It's seems like they are just trying to pass the blame. As it stands, most of the hydrogen will Use coal generated electricity to create the energy needed to produce the hydrogen, and then Big Auto can say "hey look our cars don't pollute". when that couldn't be farther from the truth.

Only real solution i see to the transportation problem is creating a non pollutive electric grid(solar, wind, wave, thermal) And then run electric cars that charge off said grid.

Would save the consumer a fortune too. No more filling stations(for gas or hydrogen, or biofuel) just charge at home. And a car that doesn't use a liquid fuel source, has less moving parts, so less can break, and maintenance costs are less for the end user as well.

Hydrogen is a pipe dream. It is to expensive to be made a commercial reality and it's production is very environmentally unfriendly. Lets start building electric cars, like the Tesla. :)

Duplicate post please disregard... unless you are AOL in which case fix this thing so it doesn't continue to show no post then a few minutes later produce the post after you have posted a second time. It is really annoying!!
