With gasoline prices continuing their wild fluctuations, many consumers are demanding more fuel-efficient cars and trucks. Automakers have responded by offering gas-sipping subcompact cars and gas-electric hybrid vehicles.     The way you drive it is only a small factor. There is much that can be done to make your engine use less fuel. A quick searched turned up the following interesting read:-

    With a double effort (driving plus tuning) we should all save a fair bit of money each year.

    We would all spend less on gas if there was less congestion in our cities.
